THE CLASSIC LOCALE FOR BRITISH HOLIDAYS: SUSSEX?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary segment, 'The Classic Locale for British Holidays: Sussex?', invites viewers on a journey through the picturesque county of Sussex, exploring its historical significance as a cradle of British holiday resorts. Presenter Charlie Luxton guides us from the elegant seaside town of Eastbourne to a lavish mansion in Aldwick, a locale near the charming town of Bognor Regis. While the episode offers a glimpse into the allure of traditional British getaways, its brevity and lack of broader context leave one wishing for a more in-depth exploration of Sussex's enduring appeal as a holiday destination. The visual appeal is evident, but a deeper dive into the cultural and historical nuances of these locations would have elevated the experience.
