THE BLAZING CANNONS

Cinemavixion Review

In 'The Blazing Cannons,' director duo Mark Noyce and Ben Shockley deliver a gritty crime thriller that plunges viewers into a city gripped by a relentless serial killer. The narrative centers on the unorthodox detectives Saxon and Steel, whose unhealthy obsession with 70s cop shows is matched only by their brutal efficacy in apprehending criminals. While the film might not boast the polish of mainstream blockbusters, its compelling premise and the chemistry between its lead characters, as portrayed by Noyce and Shockley themselves, offer a captivating, albeit lean, 84-minute descent into the darker side of law enforcement. With a respectable 6.7 rating on IMDb, 'The Blazing Cannons' stands as a noteworthy independent effort for fans of the genre seeking a no-nonsense, hard-boiled detective story.
