THE BLACKOUT

Cinemavixion Review

This independent horror feature, 'The Blackout,' plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where twin sisters and their companion are trapped in a town plunged into a supernatural darkness. With monstrous entities lurking just beyond the reach of their dwindling cellphone light, the film promises a tense battle for survival. The narrative hinges on the claustrophobia of the unknown and the desperate fight against unseen horrors, making the limited light source a crucial element of suspense. It's a premise ripe for jump scares and atmospheric dread, exploring themes of sisterly bonds tested under extreme duress. The film aims to deliver a primal fear experience, where the absence of light becomes the ultimate antagonist.
