THE BLACK GATE

Cinemavixion Review

David and Sarah, siblings estranged by the tragic death of their parents, find their lives irrevocably altered when Sarah, an archaeologist, receives a cryptic occult book from their Uncle Simon. Haunted by strange dreams and compelled by the book's mysterious origins, Sarah seeks David's help to decipher its ancient spells. Their quest takes them to their uncle's isolated home, a place that becomes a nexus of the supernatural. Unbeknownst to them, a trio of criminals, fleeing the law, also seeks refuge at the same location. As fate would have it, these five disparate souls are thrust into a terrifying descent into Hell, awakening a wrathful legion of the dead. This French-language thriller, featuring subtitles, promises a chilling exploration of familial trauma, arcane rituals, and the ultimate price of disturbing the netherworld.
