THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE

Cinemavixion Review

René Cardona Jr.'s "The Bermuda Triangle" plunges viewers into a chilling maritime mystery, exploring the infamous geographic anomaly through the eyes of a doomed scuba diving expedition. The film masterfully builds suspense as the ship's passengers and crew find themselves adrift in waters known for unexplained disappearances. Cardona Jr. skillfully blends elements of horror and mystery, creating an atmosphere of mounting dread. The performances, particularly from John Huston, Andrés García, and Hugo Stiglitz, anchor the unfolding terror, making the characters' plight palpable. While the narrative delves into the supernatural and the unknown, it remains grounded in the human experience of fear and survival. This 1978 thriller offers a compelling, if unsettling, journey into the heart of a legendary enigma, inviting contemplation on the vastness of the unexplained.
