THE ASSASSIN

Cinemavixion Review

This Wuxia film plunges viewers into a world of intrigue and deadly precision, following the clandestine operations of the 'Yizheng Pavilion.' The narrative centers on three elite assassins—Mu Qing, Zui Lan, and Qin Hao—tasked with eliminating a corrupt Prince Ning. However, the brutal efficiency of the massacre raises suspicions for Hang Zhiyu, a follower of the Prince, who embarks on a dangerous investigation. As Hang Zhiyu delves deeper, he uncovers a web of conspiracy reaching into the highest echelons of the court, suggesting that the motives behind the assassination are far more complex than they initially appear. The film promises a thrilling exploration of loyalty, betrayal, and the shadowy forces that manipulate power from behind the scenes.
