THE AMITYVILLE HAUNTING

Cinemavixion Review

This found-footage horror entry plunges viewers into a chilling scenario: a family's hopeful new beginning in a house that harbors an ancient, malevolent presence. The narrative effectively builds suspense, transitioning from unsettling ambient phenomena to outright terror. As the sinister forces within the walls awaken, the family's struggle for survival becomes increasingly desperate. The film utilizes the intimate perspective of its recording devices to amplify the sense of dread and entrapment, making the audience feel like unwilling witnesses to the unfolding nightmare. It's a descent into fear where the mundane setting of a family home becomes the terrifying backdrop for an escalating supernatural conflict.
