THE AMISH AND THE FBI WORK TOGETHER?

Cinemavixion Review

This intriguing narrative weaves together disparate elements into a curious modern-day Rip Van Winkle tale. Set in 1998, the story centers on scientist Rick Periwinkle, who is abducted by Amelia Earhart and her time-traveling companions. Their motive: to extract his secrets on anti-aging technology. As their wormhole destabilizes, they transport Rick to the present, creating a temporal ripple that affects everyone. Back in the past, Rick's wife, Lucy, grapples with her own profound existential crisis, exacerbated by a regrettable kiss with her best friend, Dana, while simultaneously being eyed by the FBI in connection with Rick's vanishing. The juxtaposition of the Amish community and federal agents attempting to solve the mystery from their respective ends adds a unique layer to this complex, genre-bending story. The film explores themes of time, identity, and the unexpected consequences of scientific ambition.
