THE AMERICAN DREAM

Cinemavixion Review

Fi Rhee's "The American Dream" (2021) offers a poignant, true-to-life narrative centered on an individual's journey from Africa to the United States, and their subsequent quest to achieve the titular dream. While the external data suggests this might be "Part 1" of a series, the core story, as presented, focuses on the inherent struggles and aspirations that accompany such a significant life transition. The film, featuring performances from Adriana Alvarado and Regal Mack, delves into the challenges of cultural adaptation and the often-elusive nature of the American dream, making it a compelling watch for those interested in stories of perseverance and identity.
