Edgar G. Ulmer, a director known for his B-movie noir classics, ventures into the realm of science fiction with "The Amazing Transparent Man." Released in 1960, this low-budget feature plunges viewers into the madcap schemes of Dr. Peter Uloff, portrayed with appropriate eccentricity by Ivan Triesault. Uloff's ambition: to create an army of invisible zombies. His reluctant test subject is Joey Faust, a safecracker played by Douglas Kennedy, who finds himself caught in the unpredictable side effects of the invisibility experiments.
