THE 11TH PATIENT

Cinemavixion Review

Derek Cole's 2019 independent thriller, 'The 11th Patient,' delves into the psychological depths of trauma with a narrative centered on a young boy emerging from a coma after a harrowing kidnapping. The film, starring Shelly Cole, Steven Cole, and Andy Gates, attempts to explore the arduous journey of confronting deep-seated fears to reclaim one's reality. While the premise promises a tense exploration of the human psyche, the execution, as reflected in its modest IMDb rating of 3.9, suggests a film that may struggle to fully capitalize on its intriguing concept. Nevertheless, for viewers drawn to character-driven psychological dramas that tackle the aftermath of extreme adversity, 'The 11th Patient' offers a focused, albeit potentially uneven, cinematic experience.
