TEXAS TROUBLE SHOOTERS

Cinemavixion Review

"Texas Trouble Shooters," a 1942 Western directed by S. Roy Luby, plunges audiences into a classic tale of inheritance swindles and frontier justice. The film, starring the popular Range Busters trio of Ray Corrigan, John 'Dusty' King, and Max Terhune, centers on an elaborate scheme to seize a ranch for its hidden oil wealth. As the plot unfolds, the Range Busters find themselves entangled in the machinations of a villainous plot, forced to operate under assumed identities to uncover the truth and protect the rightful heirs. While the film's plot summary suggests a straightforward, action-packed narrative typical of its era, its runtime of 55 minutes promises a brisk and engaging viewing experience. Despite the lack of major awards or critical accolades, "Texas Trouble Shooters" offers a solid dose of Western entertainment, showcasing the camaraderie and rugged individualism that defined the genre. It's a worthy addition for fans of classic B-Westerns and the enduring appeal of the Range Busters.
