TETHERED

Cinemavixion Review

Daniel Robinette's 2022 film "Tethered" plunges viewers into a chilling isolation miles from civilization, where a unique bond forms between a blind teenager and a hunter. This precarious alliance is soon tested by an unseen terror stalking the surrounding woods. While the film's critical reception, as indicated by a 33% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.7/10 on IMDb, suggests a mixed audience response, its premise offers a compelling blend of psychological tension and creature feature elements. The narrative explores themes of vulnerability and reliance against a backdrop of primal fear, making "Tethered" a noteworthy, albeit divisive, entry into the horror genre.
