Giuliano Carnimeo's 1971 spaghetti western, "Testa t'ammazzo, croce... sei morto" (roughly translated as "Head I kill you, cross... you're dead"), plunges viewers into the heart of the Mexican Revolution. The narrative centers on General Ramirez, a revolutionary leader determined to oust European oppressors. To achieve this, he enlists the aid of Hallelujah, a taciturn and enigmatic gunfighter. Hallelujah's mission is to intercept a crucial shipment of jewels destined for Emperor Maximilian, thereby crippling the European forces' ability to acquire weapons. However, this is far from a straightforward task. Hallelujah finds himself entangled in a web of intrigue, facing not only the Emperor's forces but also a rogue's gallery of bandits, cunning secret agents, a treacherous impostor posing as a relative, and even a dubious Russian prince.
