Tulio Demicheli's 1973 Western, "Tequila," plunges into the dusty heart of Chedron, a town teetering on the brink of economic ruin. The narrative centers on the machinations of bank owner De Koven, whose predatory lending practices threaten to dispossess local ranchers. Amidst this tension, the arrival of the enigmatic Tequila and Bobo signals a potential upheaval. Their stated intention to rob the bank, however, becomes entangled with a more complex web of intrigue. Shosena, a sharp-witted bank robber, and her associate "Jaguar," also target De Koven, their presence in town a calculated move to facilitate their heist. The simmering conflict is further complicated by the forbidden romance between De Koven's son, George, and the daughter of his fiercest adversary, Rush.
