John Polson's 2009 film "Tenderness" offers a gritty and unsettling exploration of troubled youth and the predatory nature that can lurk beneath the surface of society. Starring Russell Crowe as a determined detective, Jon Foster as a recently released juvenile offender, and Sophie Traub as a dangerously infatuated teenager, the film weaves a complex narrative that delves into themes of obsession, manipulation, and the blurred lines between innocence and corruption.
