TEENS "RAC!ST HUNTING" SPORT: THIS 911 CALL EXPOSED EVERYTHING

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the harrowing true story of James Craig Anderson's death, a tragedy sparked by a racially motivated hit-and-run. The narrative is powerfully framed by a gut-wrenching 911 call, immediately setting a tone of urgency and dread. As the investigation unfolds, it unearths not just a singular act of violence but a disturbing pattern of racial animus among a group of white teenagers in Mississippi. The film meticulously reconstructs the events, drawing on eyewitness testimonies that expose the hateful rhetoric and chilling deliberation behind the attack. Detectives involved recount the difficult process of confronting the perpetrators, highlighting their apparent absence of remorse. Beyond the immediate crime, the documentary broadens its scope, presenting evidence uncovered by a private investigator that suggests a wider network of racially charged assaults, underscoring the deep-seated racial tensions within the community. This case, which reverberated across the nation, serves as a stark reminder of the persistent struggle for justice and the critical need for dialogue surrounding hate crimes in America.
