TEENAGE HITCHHIKERS

Cinemavixion Review

Anton Holden's "Teenage Hitchhikers" plunges into the chaotic world of youth rebellion and familial discord. The narrative centers on Kim, a young woman adrift and entangled with unsavory elements, who seeks refuge and reconciliation with her estranged sister, Hilary. This journey, intended to secure an inheritance, is fraught with peril as dangerous figures from Kim's past pursue her. The film explores themes of escape, the search for belonging, and the often-strained bonds of family. Robin Lane and Alisha Fontaine deliver performances that capture the raw vulnerability and desperation of their characters, navigating a landscape fraught with both external threats and internal turmoil. "Teenage Hitchhikers" offers a gritty, compelling look at the consequences of choices made in the pursuit of a better life, set against the backdrop of a turbulent era.
