TAUGHT IN COLD BLOOD

Cinemavixion Review

P. David Miller's 2017 thriller, 'Taught in Cold Blood,' plunges viewers into the turbulent psyche of a troubled teenager. The film masterfully navigates the protagonist's internal conflict, caught between the solace of a loving relationship and the sinister influence of an enigmatic stranger who beckons him towards a darker path. Luke Lippold delivers a compelling performance, anchoring the narrative with a raw portrayal of youthful angst and moral ambiguity. The interplay between Lippold, Mesindo Pompa, and Sara Drust forms the emotional core, exploring themes of loyalty, temptation, and the chilling consequences of succumbing to external pressures. While the IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the film's exploration of its central premise offers a thought-provoking, albeit grim, cinematic experience that resonates with its dark undertones.
