TARZAN'S REVENGE

Cinemavixion Review

Released in 1938, "Tarzan's Revenge" plunges viewers into a thrilling jungle adventure, masterfully directed by D. Ross Lederman. The film stars Glenn Morris as the iconic Tarzan, alongside Eleanor Holm and George Barbier. Set against the backdrop of the African wilderness, the narrative follows Eleanor and her family as they navigate treacherous encounters with big game hunters and the predatory intentions of Ben Alleu Bey, who seeks to add Eleanor to his harem. Tarzan, however, emerges as her protector, a mysterious figure of the jungle intervening in her plight. Lederman crafts a compelling story of survival and unexpected rescue, highlighting the raw beauty and inherent dangers of the untamed world. The performances, particularly Morris's portrayal of Tarzan, capture the essence of this classic jungle hero, making "Tarzan's Revenge" a noteworthy entry in the adventure genre.
