TARGET

Cinemavixion Review

William Webb's 2004 thriller 'Target' plunges viewers into a tense game of cat and mouse, anchored by a compelling performance from Stephen Baldwin as U.S. Army sniper Charlie Snow. The narrative excels in its straightforward yet effective premise: a vengeful antagonist, driven by the death of his arms-dealer brother, sets his sights on Snow and his family in Los Angeles. This setup provides a fertile ground for suspense, exploring themes of retribution and the collateral damage of a dangerous profession. Despite its modest critical reception, the film's straightforward action and Baldwin's committed portrayal of a man under siege make 'Target' a serviceable entry in the thriller genre, offering a solid dose of adrenaline for those seeking a direct and unpretentious cinematic experience.
