TANGERINELAND

Cinemavixion Review

Kellen Garner's "TangerineLAnd" is a charmingly unconventional romantic comedy that dives into the complexities of love and commitment with a refreshing dose of humor. The film masterfully navigates the turbulent waters of a second chance at love, centering on Beth Harris's impending wedding and the unexpected reappearance of her estranged husband, Sonny Baker. Garner, who also directs and stars, delivers a performance that is both earnest and comedic, perfectly complemented by Brittany Brooks and Bret Green. The narrative unfolds against the picturesque backdrop of Newport Beach, adding a visually appealing layer to the emotional journey. While the plot might tread familiar territory, the film's sharp dialogue and heartfelt performances elevate it beyond the ordinary, offering a delightful exploration of second chances and the enduring power of connection. "TangerineLAnd" is a warm and witty cinematic escape, perfect for those who enjoy stories with a blend of romance and lighthearted drama.
