TABERNACLE 101

Cinemavixion Review

Colm O'Murchu's "Tabernacle 101" plunges into the chilling abyss of the unknown, offering a supernatural thriller that grapples with profound existential questions. The narrative centers on an atheist's ambitious experiment to debunk the afterlife, a pursuit that inadvertently tears open a rift between dimensions, threatening earthly existence. David Hov delivers a compelling performance as the protagonist, whose journey from skepticism to a desperate fight for salvation forms the emotional core of the film. While O'Murchu's directorial vision is ambitious, the film excels in its exploration of faith, consequence, and the terrifying possibilities that lie beyond our understanding. The supporting cast, including Mikaela Franco and Elly Hiraani Clapin, effectively grounds the high-stakes narrative, creating a tense and thought-provoking cinematic experience that challenges viewers to consider the boundaries of belief.
