SWEET TASTE OF SOULS

Cinemavixion Review

Terry Ross's "Sweet Taste of Souls" plunges viewers into a nightmarish roadside cafe where four down-on-their-luck band members discover that the pie isn't the only thing with a sinister appetite. This 2020 indie horror offering, starring Honey Lauren, John Salandria, and Mark Valeriano, crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere as the musicians become unwilling exhibits in a deranged owner's macabre art collection. The film masterfully blends elements of fantasy and thriller, creating a unique and unsettling experience that explores the darker side of artistic obsession and the supernatural. Despite a modest IMDb rating, the film's inventive premise and commitment to its chilling vision make it a noteworthy entry for fans seeking unconventional horror narratives.
