SUSPENSION

Cinemavixion Review

Jeffery Scott Lando's "Suspension" plunges viewers into a harrowing narrative centered on a high school girl and her tormentors facing a terrifying, enigmatic killer. The film skillfully crafts an atmosphere of dread, exploring themes of bullying and the primal instinct for survival. Taylor Russell delivers a compelling performance as the protagonist, navigating the escalating terror with a believable mix of fear and resilience. The plot, which hints at a supernatural or otherworldly element to the antagonist, adds a layer of intrigue beyond a standard slasher flick. While perhaps not reaching the heights of critical acclaim, "Suspension" offers a tense and engaging thriller that effectively utilizes its premise to deliver suspense and explore the darker aspects of adolescent social dynamics and the consequences of cruelty.
