SUPERCROC

Cinemavixion Review

For aficionados of the creature-feature genre, particularly those who appreciate the pulpy thrills of films like 'Crawl' and 'Lake Placid,' The Asylum's 'Supercroc' offers a familiar yet satisfyingly B-movie experience. This 2007 release plunges viewers into a desperate scenario where a military unit is tasked with neutralizing a colossal, ravenous crocodile threatening a populated area. The narrative wisely keeps the tension high, focusing on the relentless pursuit and the primal fear of becoming prey. While the production values may align with its studio's reputation, the straightforward, action-packed premise and the sheer audacity of its premise make 'Supercroc' a watchable entry for those seeking unpretentious, monstrous mayhem. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of giant monster cinema, delivering exactly what its premise promises: a very big croc and a very big problem.
