SUNSET CARSON RIDES AGAIN

Cinemavixion Review

Oliver Drake's "Sunset Carson Rides Again" from 1948 offers a classic Western narrative centered on the titular cowboy, portrayed by Sunset Carson himself. The film delves into a conflict where Carson endeavors to raise funds for a community school, only to be thwarted by his unscrupulous partner, Sam Webster. Webster's schemes aim to swindle Carson out of his land and the school's proceeds, particularly when a benefit prize-fight is organized. While the external data lists Al Terry and Pat Starling in the cast, the core elements of the plot and the central figure align perfectly with the provided local data. This B-Western, with its straightforward plot and familiar tropes, provides a decent slice of frontier justice and community spirit, characteristic of the era's genre offerings. It's a solid entry for fans of straightforward cowboy tales.
