STUNT SQUAD

Cinemavixion Review

Domenico Paolella's "Stunt Squad" plunges viewers into the gritty underworld of 1970s Italy, where rampant crime demands an equally audacious response. The film excels in its visceral portrayal of lawlessness and the subsequent formation of an elite, motorcycle-borne police unit tasked with restoring order. Marcel Bozzuffi delivers a commanding performance as the resolute commissioner, spearheading a team that includes the compelling Vittorio Mezzogiorno. Paolella masterfully blends high-octane action sequences with the tense atmosphere characteristic of Italian crime thrillers of the era. While lacking major accolades, its authentic depiction of the period and the raw energy of its protagonists make "Stunt Squad" a noteworthy entry for fans of the genre, offering a compelling glimpse into a cinematic landscape where justice often rides on two wheels.
