STREET SAVAGES

Cinemavixion Review

"Street Savages" plunges into the gritty underbelly of urban power dynamics, chronicling the desperate measures a crime boss takes to maintain his dominion. Directed by Latavious Flournoy and featuring performances from RJ Autry, Stephen Zachary, and Zipporah Cheeks, the film offers a raw, albeit amateurish, portrayal of street-level ambition. While the narrative treads familiar ground in the crime genre, its strength lies in its commitment to depicting the harsh realities of its characters' lives without resorting to gratuitous violence. The film's low-budget aesthetic, as suggested by its limited online presence and critical reception, contributes to an authentic, unvarnished feel. For viewers seeking an unpretentious look at the struggles for power in a confined world, "Street Savages" provides a compelling, albeit brief, cinematic experience.
