STRANGERS AT THE DOOR

Cinemavixion Review

Rogelio Salinas III's "Strangers at the Door" plunges viewers into a tense home invasion narrative, where a family's quiet evening shatters with the arrival of masked intruders. The film masterfully builds suspense as the initial terror of a robbery escalates into a revelation of deeper, more complex motives. Manuel Garcia, William Ofoegbu, and Jeremy Hayden deliver compelling performances, grounding the escalating dread in raw human emotion. While the plot initially suggests a standard thriller, the screenplay cleverly pivots, exploring themes of desperation and unforeseen consequences. The stark, claustrophobic atmosphere amplifies the psychological tension, making this a disquieting yet thought-provoking cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
