STRANGER IN SACRAMENTO

Cinemavixion Review

Sergio Bergonzelli's "Stranger in Sacramento" plunges viewers into a gritty narrative of vengeance, starring Mickey Hargitay as Mike Jordan. Upon escaping prison, Jordan embarks on a relentless quest to clear the names and avenge the deaths of his father and brother. The film, set against a backdrop of the 1960s, explores themes of justice, loyalty, and the corrupting influence of power. Hargitay delivers a compelling performance, embodying the desperation and determination of a man wronged. Bergonzelli's direction crafts a tense atmosphere, punctuated by moments of intense action and dramatic confrontation. While the film's plotline is straightforward, its exploration of familial bonds and the pursuit of truth resonates, offering a compelling watch for fans of classic crime thrillers.
