STOP PEPPER PALMER

Cinemavixion Review

In the quirky comedy 'Stop Pepper Palmer,' director Lonzo Liggins presents a unique premise centered in Utah, a state not typically known for its diverse population. The film follows three local Black men who, upon learning of a new Black woman's arrival in town, enlist the help of a self-proclaimed dating guru, Pepper Palmer. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn as Pepper's true identity proves to be far from what they anticipated, leading the protagonists into a series of comical predicaments. While the plot summary suggests a lighthearted exploration of romance and mistaken identity, the film's limited available details and its 2015 release date mean its reception and broader impact are not widely documented. It stands as an independent effort, potentially offering a niche appeal with its specific cultural and comedic setup.
