STILL TODAY

Cinemavixion Review

In "Still Today," director Tommy Walton crafts a surprisingly heartfelt romantic comedy that explores the unexpected turns life can take. The film centers on Pete, a man left at the altar, whose groomsmen present him with an unconventional wedding gift: an escort. What follows is a night of unexpected connection, catalyzed by a Lunar Eclipse, that suggests this encounter might be exactly what Pete needed to redefine his path. Starring Teri Wyble and Carlos Aviles, the movie, released in 2020, offers a blend of humor and genuine emotion, delving into themes of fate and finding love in the most unlikely circumstances. While the plot might sound unconventional, the execution aims for a magical, transformative experience, making "Still Today" a charming watch for those who appreciate a twist on the traditional romance narrative.
