STILL TODAY

Cinemavixion Review

In "Still Today," director Tommy Walton crafts a surprisingly poignant romantic comedy that delves into the unexpected detours life can take. The film centers on Pete, a man jilted at the altar, whose groomsmen present him with a rather unconventional wedding gift: an escort. What unfolds is a magical night in the city, spurred by what the narrative suggests might be a Lunar Eclipse or perhaps fate itself. The film cleverly explores whether this chance encounter might be exactly what Pete needed all along, offering a fresh perspective on love and second chances. While the local data is sparse, the external data paints a picture of a film that, despite its unconventional premise, aims to deliver a heartwarming and thought-provoking experience. With a plot that balances humor with genuine emotion, "Still Today" is a testament to the idea that sometimes, the most significant moments arrive when we least expect them.
