STEALING SUNRISE

Cinemavixion Review

"Stealing Sunrise" offers a gritty dive into the desperate final acts of a quartet of criminals, united by a shared dream of retirement on a sun-drenched beach. The film, directed by and starring Michael Jason Allen, alongside DeAnna Cali and Andrew DeCarlo, meticulously crafts a narrative where the pursuit of illicit gains becomes increasingly fraught with internal conflict and external threats. The plot thickens as a determined sheriff closes in, while simmering tensions within the group threaten to derail their ambitious plans before they can even reach their idyllic destination. Allen’s direction imbues the story with a palpable sense of urgency, exploring themes of loyalty, greed, and the elusive nature of redemption. The ensemble cast delivers performances that capture the weariness and desperation of characters on the run, making "Stealing Sunrise" a compelling watch for those who appreciate character-driven crime thrillers.
