Donna Keegan's "Stealing Church" presents a moral quandary wrapped in a narrative of unexpected divine intervention. The film follows a traveling pastor whose intentions are far from godly, as he conspires with two hired hands to pilfer church tithes. However, as is often the case in tales of deceit, fate, or perhaps a higher power, intervenes, leading to a situation where good may ultimately emerge from a decidedly wicked plan. Starring Dean Cain, Benny Bernard Jr., Charlston Urbina, and Donald Ellis Spivey Jr., this 2024 release offers a thought-provoking exploration of redemption and the mysterious ways in which good can manifest, even from the darkest of schemes.
