STEAL

Cinemavixion Review

Gérard Pirès's "Steal" plunges viewers into a high-octane world where extreme sports prowess fuels audacious criminal endeavors. Starring a compelling Natasha Henstridge alongside Stephen Dorff and Bruce Payne, the film crafts a narrative around a gang of young, thrill-seeking bank robbers. Their daring heists, characterized by elaborate getaways, are designed for a spectacular finale, aiming to secure a substantial fortune. However, their ambition attracts dangerous attention, pitting them against both relentless law enforcement and ruthless organized crime. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, evidenced by a 29% score on Rotten Tomatoes, it offers a brisk, action-packed ride. The international production, blending elements of French, British, and Canadian cinema, delivers a stylish, albeit somewhat predictable, crime thriller that appeals to fans of adrenaline-fueled capers.
