STAY OUT OF THE ATTIC

Cinemavixion Review

Jerren Lauder's 'Stay Out of the Attic' plunges viewers into a chilling descent into a Victorian mansion's darkest secrets. The narrative follows a crew of former convicts, hired for a seemingly straightforward moving job by the enigmatic Vern Muller. Drawn by the allure of a substantial bonus, they agree to work through the night, a decision that quickly proves disastrous. As the house is gradually emptied, the true, terrifying nature of the mansion begins to reveal itself. Lauder masterfully builds suspense, leveraging the isolated setting and the protagonists' uneasy alliance to create a palpable sense of dread. The film excels in its atmospheric horror, hinting at unspeakable terrors lurking just beyond the shadows, making for a compelling watch for fans of gothic and psychological thrillers.
