STAND

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a harrowing journey through the Vietnamese countryside, two American brothers find their adventure abruptly halted by a chilling discovery: an unexploded minefield. Director Cosmos Kiindarius crafts a taut survival thriller where every step is fraught with peril, pushing the boundaries of human endurance against the specter of war's lingering dangers. The film masterfully ratchets up the tension, trapping the audience alongside the protagonists in a desperate race against time. For aficionados of claustrophobic, high-stakes narratives like 'Open Water' or '127 Hours', 'STAND' offers a potent dose of adrenaline and a stark reminder of the fragility of life in the face of overwhelming odds.
