SPLIT LIP

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Sheffield's "Split Lip" plunges viewers into the shadowy realm of contract killers, where a single misstep can prove fatal. The film excels in its portrayal of Set (Dorée Seay), a formidable mercenary whose cool demeanor belies a fierce survival instinct. When a critical error jeopardizes her reputation, Set embarks on a desperate mission to reclaim her standing, pursued relentlessly by her former mentor, Karlton (DeJean Brown). The narrative skillfully weaves elements of action and suspense, bolstered by Seay's compelling performance and the gritty atmosphere cultivated by Sheffield's direction. While the IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, the film's taut pacing and exploration of loyalty and betrayal within a dangerous underworld offer a compelling watch for fans of the genre.
