SPIRITISM | FOUND FOOTAGE

Cinemavixion Review

This found-footage horror film plunges viewers into the chilling confines of John W. Gacy's notorious residence. As paranormal investigators delve into the house's dark history, their quest for spectral encounters quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival. The narrative promises a terrifying escalation of events, suggesting that the forces unleashed within the home far exceed the investigators' expectations, leading to a grim conclusion where none are left to tell the tale. While the premise taps into the well-trodden paths of the haunted house and serial killer subgenres, the found-footage format aims to deliver a visceral, immediate sense of dread. The film's limited information suggests a focus on atmospheric tension and jump scares, aiming to capitalize on the inherent fear associated with real-life horror.
