SPIRIT TRAP

Cinemavixion Review

David Smith's 'Spirit Trap' plunges viewers into a chilling descent within a dilapidated London mansion, where five students awaken a malevolent spirit clock. As the spectral timepiece ticks, the film masterfully blurs the lines between reality and delusion, forcing the characters to confront their deepest transgressions. The narrative expertly weaves a tapestry of paranoia and escalating violence, as long-held secrets surface and fracture the group's bonds. While the film may not have garnered widespread accolades, its unsettling atmosphere and exploration of guilt and consequence offer a compelling, if grim, cinematic experience. For fans of psychological horror, 'Spirit Trap' provides a potent, if claustrophobic, journey into the darkness that resides not only in haunted houses, but within the human heart.
