SON REUNITED WITH LOST WAR HERO FATHER’S DOWNED WW2 PLANE

Cinemavixion Review

This poignant documentary chronicles the deeply personal journey of John Watts, a man who never met his father, Wing Commander Joseph Watts. The elder Watts perished in a bombing raid during World War II, leaving behind a pregnant wife and a son who would be born into a world without him. The film centers on John's visit to the RAF Museum at Cosford, where he encounters a surviving Hampden Bomber—the very aircraft his father flew. This encounter offers a tangible connection to a lost parent, allowing John to witness firsthand the machine that was part of his father's final mission. The narrative is a moving exploration of legacy, remembrance, and the enduring impact of wartime sacrifice, even across generations.
