SNOW SHARK

Cinemavixion Review

Sam Qualiana's "Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast" (2011) plunges viewers into a chilling tale rooted in a past scientific expedition gone awry. The film revisits a 12-year-old tragedy where biologists unearthed a terrifying discovery, a discovery that now threatens to resurface as the legend of the Ancient Snow Beast. Qualiana, who also stars in the film alongside Michael O'Hear and Kathy Murphy, crafts a narrative that blends elements of horror, sci-fi, and perhaps a touch of the absurd, as the creature's legend looms large. Despite its modest production and a divisive reception, the film offers a unique, albeit low-budget, take on creature features, inviting audiences to explore the icy consequences of disturbing ancient mysteries.
