SMALL TEEN, BIGGER WORLD: THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE OF THE LATE JAZZ BURKITT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a poignant glimpse into the life of Jazz Burkitt, a resilient 17-year-old navigating adolescence with restricted growth. Despite her physical stature, which mirrors that of a much younger child, Jazz embodies an indomitable spirit, fiercely pursuing a 'normal' teenage existence. The film, part of the 'Only Human' series, commendably shifts the focus from perceived limitations to the extraordinary qualities that define us all. It serves as a powerful reminder that challenges can forge everyday heroes, celebrating the unique journeys and personal triumphs that shape human experience. The narrative is a touching exploration of courage, determination, and the universal desire for acceptance and a full life.
