SLEEPLESS BEAUTY: YOU WILL NOT SLEEP

Cinemavixion Review

Pavel Khvaleev's 'Sleepless Beauty' plunges viewers into a harrowing psychological thriller where the protagonist, Mila, is subjected to a brutal regimen of sleep deprivation and increasingly disturbing tasks by a shadowy organization called Recreation. Portrayed with visceral intensity by Polina Davydova, Mila's struggle is not merely against her captors but also against her own fracturing psyche. The film masterfully blurs the lines between torment and twisted entertainment, leaving the audience to question the true nature of Mila's ordeal and the motives behind this deadly experiment. With its claustrophobic atmosphere and relentless pacing, 'Sleepless Beauty' is a disturbing yet compelling exploration of endurance and the fragility of the human mind.
