SLAUGHTERED

Cinemavixion Review

SLAUGHTERED plunges viewers into a harrowing descent into primal fear, following a group of friends whose road trip takes a terrifying detour. A chance encounter with a mysterious young woman and her equally enigmatic mother leads to a nightmarish trap, where the veneer of hospitality quickly dissolves into a brutal hunt. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread as the friends are systematically targeted and subjected to a sinister ritual by the mother and her kin. Directed by Kimo Stamboel and Timo Tjahjanto, the movie explores themes of isolation and the dark undercurrents that can lie beneath seemingly normal facades. The performances, particularly from Shareefa Daanish as the chilling matriarch, anchor the film's relentless tension, making SLAUGHTERED a disturbing yet compelling watch for fans of intense horror.
