SLAUGHTER DRIVE: NO ONE STAYS ALIVE

Cinemavixion Review

Ben Dietels' "SLAUGHTER DRIVE: NO ONE STAYS ALIVE" plunges viewers into a chaotic, low-budget horror-comedy where a found-footage premise takes a hilariously disastrous turn. The narrative centers on Doug Stevenson, a filmmaker whose accidental recording of a horrific event sets off a chain reaction of escalating mayhem. Doug, aided by his less-than-competent teacher friends, embarks on a desperate mission to protect his community from the unfolding terror. The film leans into its B-movie roots, offering a blend of practical effects that promise gore and a soundtrack designed to evoke a nostalgic, perhaps even ironic, appreciation for genre cinema. While the premise suggests a frantic, unpredictable ride, the true appeal lies in its earnest, if amateurish, execution and the promise of a splattery good time for fans of independent horror.
