SKYMAN

Cinemavixion Review

Daniel Myrick's 'Skyman' ventures into the realm of science fiction with a narrative centered on Carl Merryweather, a man convinced of an alien encounter from his childhood. The film traces his determined effort to revisit the site of this supposed encounter, hoping to reconnect with the UFO that marked his past. Despite a relatively low IMDb rating of 5.2, 'Skyman' garnered a more favorable 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, suggesting a divided critical reception. With a runtime of 92 minutes, the movie offers a focused exploration of belief, memory, and the enduring human fascination with the unknown. While details on awards and box office performance are not readily available, the film's premise, exploring a personal journey into the extraterrestrial, provides a compelling hook for fans of speculative fiction.
