SKIN CREEPERS

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Skin Creepers,' director Ezra Tsegaye crafts a darkly comedic horror that delves into the desperate measures of two filmmakers attempting to produce a pornographic film. What begins as a misguided artistic endeavor quickly spirals into supernatural chaos when their lead actress becomes the vessel for a demonic entity. The film, co-written by Tsegaye and Sebastian Kühne, cleverly blends elements of low-budget filmmaking ambition with genuine possession horror, resulting in a unique, albeit niche, cinematic experience. While the IMDb rating suggests a polarizing reception, the premise alone promises a wild ride. The performances from Nicolás Artajo, Nicolas Szent, and Barbara Prakopenka anchor the narrative, navigating the escalating absurdity with committed performances. 'Skin Creepers' offers a bizarre, engaging, and often unsettling exploration of creative desperation meeting infernal intervention.
